In our last two blogs, we’ve journeyed the virtual highways, byways and waterways, in search of some of the most tasteful eco-friendly resorts, lodges and vacation spots across the globe. Whilst these unique vacation destinations enhance your euphoric state of mind, they’re also noteworthy for being eco-conscious in their practices.

Let’s continue on our voyage and explore the heavenly heights of nature. We will visit three eco-luxurious mountaineering destinations that really embrace raw and grandeur beauty!

John Muir Trail

Hiking enthusiasts, which resemble all suitable skill levels, flock to this majestic trail year round. You can hike portions of this beautiful terrain or all 200 miles of it. Not interested in hiking? No problem. Enjoy a convenient ride up the lift to the mountain top and enjoy all that Mother Nature has to offer.

Expect to view stunning sites such as Le Conte Canyon, as well as the Alpenglow, which is the illuminating red glow the mountains project during sunset. Other sites this picturesque trail exudes is the Yosemite Valley and Sequoia-Kings Canyon National Park.

Vermillion Valley ResortWant to snuggle under the stars on a cool California night? Along the John Muir Trail are havens for hikers, such as the Vermillion Valley Resort; which offers a serene lake view and also has a convenient store onsite, so hikers can restock their backpacks. Muir Trail Ranch is another great escape to melt off the stress of modern life, with hikers sleeping in rustic log or tent cabins and soaking in enclosed hot springs.

Gayana Eco Resort

Gayana Eco ResortOur next stop takes us to an absolutely romantic and exhilarating getaway in paradise. Imagine your beach villa rests at the edge of a lush coral reef, surrounded by emerald waters on a secluded tropical island. The Gayana Eco Resort in Borneo, Malaysia, offers many outdoor activities; which includes feeding marine life, canoeing and local cultural tours. EcoCamp PatagoniaEcoCamp is well known for its breathtaking panoramic views, which you will see while hiking through the Patagonian wilderness. With approximately seven professional tours to choose from, escape into this stunning stretch of land to encounter roaring waterfalls, glacial lakes, fly fishing and exotic wildlife. If you’re feeling extra adventurous, you can hike the Torres Del Paine Circuit, which can last over a week.
